Welcome To The Subterranean World.

Dive into a world of post-apocalyptic fiction and adventure.

Beneath the Ruins: A World Forgotten

A shattered world, buried in darkness. Discover the struggle for survival beneath the ruins.

The Descent Begins

The tunnels were meant to be a refuge. Now, they are a graveyard.
The survivors of Polis have only one choice—keep moving forward or be swallowed by the darkness. With danger lurking in every shadow and the remnants of war all around, the rangers embark on a perilous journey through the underground. But in the depths of the metro, survival is not guaranteed.

The War Beneath

The tunnels whisper of an empire rising, of alliances broken, and of the dead who still walk.
As factions clash for control of the underground, the rangers must navigate the chaos and uncover the truth. But beyond human conflicts, something else stirs in the shadows—something ancient, something hungry.

The Scavenger’s Path

In the depths of the metro, survival belongs to the desperate. Scavengers move like ghosts, picking through the ruins for anything of value—food, weapons, a reason to keep going. But the tunnels are unforgiving, and the line between predator and prey is razor-thin.

The Frozen Depths

Abandoned trains and forgotten fires line the tunnels, remnants of a world that once thrived. The cold seeps into every corner, and the silence is deafening—only broken by the distant echoes of something moving in the dark.

The Subterranean Exodus

"When survival means war, how far will you go?"

The world above is lost, swallowed by destruction, war, and an unrelenting darkness. What remains of humanity clings to life deep beneath the ruins, in a vast network of metro tunnels, underground stations, and hidden cities. But the underground is no sanctuary—it is a battlefield.

As the once-thriving station of Glorislav falls to the merciless Ravagers, a small group of survivors flees aboard an aging metro train, now renamed The Exodus. Among them is Altor, a ranger burdened by his past, who must navigate the war-torn tunnels while leading his people toward an uncertain future.

Their journey takes them through perilous districts, abandoned stations, and hostile territories controlled by warring factions like The Redline, The CRUX, and The NEXUS. Each tunnel they pass through whispers of past horrors, and each stop brings new dangers—both human and inhuman.

But The Exodus is running low on fuel, and the promise of salvation at Olakh, a long-abandoned station, may be nothing more than a myth. As Altor and his crew push forward, they must face the ghosts of their past and the monsters lurking in the darkness, all while questioning whether there is anything left worth fighting for.

Author's Note: Beyond the Tunnels

When you hear "underground post-apocalyptic," most minds drift to Metro 2033. And I get it—it defined a genre. It gave us the iconic gas masks, the creeping dread of irradiated tunnels, and the haunting echo of humanity clawing for survival beneath a ruined world. But as I began writing this story, I found myself drawn to different questions. What happens when trauma lingers longer than war? When memory corrodes just like the walls of abandoned stations? When survival is no longer enough?

This story was born from those questions.

At first glance, you will see the familiar silhouettes—armed factions, overgrown ruins, forgotten bunkers, and whispers in the dark. But look closer. Beneath the layers of dust and diesel is a different heartbeat: one that pulses with guilt, identity, memory, and fate.

Where Metro 2033 is about one man seeking meaning in a chaotic world, The Subterranean Awakening is about two: Altor and Baren. Two broken men, molded by war in different ways, navigating not just tunnels but each other. They don’t represent good or evil. They represent choice and consequence.

Altor is the idealist soldier who wants to believe there’s a better future buried beneath the rubble. Baren is the realist—a soldier who gave everything to a cause that betrayed him, now clawing back purpose one painful memory at a time. Together, they form the spine of a story where survival is just the beginning.

This world is shaped by those who have suffered. It remembers the innocent, the expendable, and the forgotten. It doesn’t offer easy answers. It asks: What are you willing to remember, and what must you forget to keep going?

Yes, you will see factions and firefights. You will see monstrous creatures and decayed ruins. But this story isn’t just about what happens when society collapses. It’s about what lingers afterward: the lies we cling to, the truths we run from, and the people who must piece themselves back together in the dark.

You may see the influence of Metro. But I hope you also see something new—a world where memory is a weapon, where fate isn’t set in stone, and where even in the deepest tunnel, there is room for rebellion, for hope, and for redemption.

This is my love letter to the genre—and my rebellion against its boundaries.

On a personal note: I’ve played every Metro game, read every book, and spent years immersed in its world. It changed how I saw storytelling, morality, and survival. It made me feel seen in ways few stories ever had. This project—this world—is my way of paying that inspiration forward. I don’t expect to change lives the way Metro changed mine. But if I can make even one person feel something real—hope, fear, awe, catharsis—then that’s enough.

Welcome to the underground. But don't expect to leave unchanged.
